Job Description:
As the Head of Corporate Affairs, you will play a crucial role in managing our corporate and government relations, as well as providing legal expertise to support our operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and government affairs, coupled with a legal foundation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to enhance corporate reputation and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the solar industry and advocate for policies that support our objectives, including knowledge of the IRA Act.
Provide legal guidance and support on corporate matters, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Cultivate partnerships and collaborations with government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations.
o Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote our interests and objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in corporate and government affairs, with a focus on the solar industry.
o Familiarity with photovoltaic (PV) technology and the renewable energy sector.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese or Mandarin is a plus but not required Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
